I've been using these filters for about a year and a half now and they're doing a great job with my under tank filtration system, although I added buffing pads about six months ago the water condition hasn't changed really changed as far as i could see i have a 55 gallon aquarium with about 50 different fish and live plants i am very happy with the result the pads are very easy to clean just rinse with warm running water i change them every 7-9 months i can cut two pieces out of one leaf so they last quite a long time. I would definitely recommend these products if you are looking to switch from side filtration to under tank filtration.
