Review on Brady BMP21-PLUS Handheld Label Printer: Rubber Bumpers, Multi-Line Print, 6-40pt Font by Darryel Tokarczyk

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Follow this unorthodox polarity and you're done

The basis for 5 stars is the BMP21, which outperforms other popular brands in features and quality. You don't have to worry about labels, they are much more durable and sticky than their competitors' labels and good enough for cables and flat surfaces. The printer firmware takes care of the mode (wire, flat surface, control box labels, etc.). White on blue, white on black and white on red are particularly striking. The optional power supply unit gets less than 5 stars due to its high price. If you don't have a 4 amp (or more) 9 volt DC output adapter, get one from another source and fit a crossover cable (or buy one with a crossover cable) there (like another customer pointed out) the center of the pin is negative. Observe this unorthodox polarity and you are done. There is one supplier on the website whose name starts with an "e" that offers a suitable 9 volt 4 amp crossover adapter for half what the Brady costs and it works great.
