This product works almost as described. Yes, it does everything it advertises, but if you still use it as a tripod (and I hope you do) then you have something mounted on it. If the fully extended mount is loaded, it folds back in on itself due to the complete lack of tension in the extension hinge. I would recommend buying it only if you don't need to use anything in full. The rest works great. I use them on my desk to hold my phone and flashlight. I'm not sure why this review lists "camera quality" and "remote control" as features because they don't. It's only a tripod so I've given those features a 1 because they don't exist on this product.
