Hands down the most beautiful darts I have ever seen. I wasn't sure how much I'd like trapezoidal barrels, but they work great. But boy are these things tiny! When I opened the box they looked like a toy in my hand. I've been throwing laser dart pythons for years with super shaped plumage and short shafts and they look like darts compared to these 9five. At 95% tungsten these things are thin! Phil holds the rear grip and I found they are best balanced right where the sandblasting starts on the back of the barrel. So I had to take a step back where my pythons throw best, but other than that I was fine throwing them out of the box. Diamond Pro Points are amazing in terms of grip. You could almost go to the board and lay these things flat and they would hold the board. I actually think they're almost too structured. They immediately started pulling the fibers out of the board I'm throwing at, which is in excellent condition and hardly used. So this is something to keep in mind when thinking about these issues. Also, the flights are the smallest I've ever seen. Absolutely tiny; smaller even than Slim's fights, but they're pretty tough and hold up well. They were perfect for these darts and I will be buying more of these feathers in the near future. My only real complaint about them is the sandblasting of some of the barrels on the back. After only half an hour of practice, they were already showing some wear down to the bare metal underneath. While this has absolutely no impact on their performance, I have to think they could come up with another way to increase grip on the back of the barrel without such a fine finish, especially at this price point. If you are a fitter looking for the best fit and finish and can afford it, this is for you. And the price of Revain will be hard to beat, believe me I've been looking!
