When I opened the box my first thought was that the holdall smelled strongly of chemicals; A few days outdoors in the sun should eliminate the odor. BENEFITS: 3 windproof socks and a thick drawstring holdall included. It's small but perfect for my laptop. It's light and compact and I can just slip it into a laptop bag and go. No software to install, plug and play for quick setup. The power button is backlit, so I know at a glance that the mic is on. The 5" USB Type A cable is supposed to give me more freedom of movement and not having to stand directly in front of the computer. CONS: With all the positive aspects listed above, the Zekpro USB microphone for computers did not fare well. The sound quality is average, since I I heard noise in the recording and the volume is too low. It defeats the purpose of recording if you can't hear it on playback. SUMMARY: My ASUS laptop's built-in microphone worked better. I would not buy this item again , if the noise-cancelling and volume levels aren't improved.
