Review on 🌡️ Jaalee WiFi Gateway and Smart Sensor: Monitor Greenhouse, Refrigerator, Freezer, Fridge Temperature, Humidity, Dewpoint & VPD with Data Logging and Alarm Alerts by Robert Goodlow

I bought these hoping for a cheaper way to monitor the temperature of fridges and freezers in various locations. The app was easy to download and the sensor was easy to add to the app. However, the Companion Gateway must be connected to your 2.4 WiFi to allow remote access to sensor status. Poorly translated English instructions assume the gateway device is connected via bluetooth as it says bluetooth must be on and you put the gateway in 'blue light' bluetooth pairing mode…. The instructions say to enter the SSID and WiFi key, however the app asks for an email address and sends a verification key to that address which does absolutely NOTHING when entered. In the meantime, the Bluetooth pairing mode on the gateway will time out. Writing to the support team received no reply within 2 days. The items have been returned and I am sticking with the US made product which was reliable but more expensive. Don't waste time with this Jaalee product if you don't need to use a remote management gateway.
