Lead keeps breaking

After searching several stores empty handed for double hole pencil sharpeners, I decided to look here. This one got some great reviews so I was really excited at the $7 price tag. We really needed a 2 hole sharpener for my kids big crayons. After a few weeks of use: I absolutely hate this sharpener! She keeps breaking the lead. Finally you get to the point just to write on it and the lead falls out/breaks and sometimes you can't even get it out of the sharpener without the lead just falling out. At first I thought it was related to a specific brand of pencil until I tried it with every brand of pencil, that we have and it happens to every one of them. What a waste of pencils if you think you have to sharpen one of them at least 3 times before you have a point that you can actually write with and that doesn't break. I have many other sharpeners much cheaper than this one and none have had this problem. I'm also no novice to pencil sharpeners. I like to draw and paint with my favorite medium - pencils. So I probably sharpened two or three times as many pencils as the average person. I find pencil sharpening quite relaxing, but I'm not a fan of wasting time or resources, and sharpening the same pencil over and over again is just ridiculous. Its shape actually gets in the way when sharpening. - It's hardly enough to sharpen a new pencil and it is not visible how much sharpen it. We've already sharpened because the shavings completely cover what you should see. I have many other differently shaped 1-hole sharpeners that I've never had this problem with. It's terrible! It disturbs. You have to keep it open or it's going to want to fall down on the pencil you're sharpening with quite a bit of force. I wondered if that was why the pencil's shaft broke, but after he picked it up to sharpen some pencils it didn't seem to matter. It's just an annoying and unnecessary feature. It's really annoying when you have to open the spring-loaded door and hold it open to slide your pens in. I assume, that this is an added safety feature for small children, but it's still small enough to be dangerous for small children, but with a chip compartment that can be easily taken apart, what's the difference? pencil than others I have. This may be the reason why the lead keeps breaking. My 6 year old tried to use this sharpener but couldn't. She had no problems with other sharpeners, but with this one she simply cannot sharpen pencils on her own. I would not recommend this one. Look elsewhere for a handy two-hole pencil sharpener. If I find one I like I'll update my review with it. Doesn't seem as sharp as it takes more effort to sharpen a pencil than others I have. This may be the reason why the lead keeps breaking.
