I ended up returning this unit in favor of a Tesla model. The $35 Tesla model includes a Gen2 wall wart retainer, and the hook is a much lower profile. This device, which costs less than half the price of Tesla, holds the wand very well (almost too well), but it was an extra step to unhook the wand and unwind the cord. I could have just left the wand hanging, but then I would have preferred the Tesla version, which has a much lower profile against the wall (and has a T instead of the TopFit logo). So if you are looking for a very economical and durable cable holder with room for a bolt this is a great unit for you. But if you're willing to spend twice as much, the Tesla version is easier to use on a day-to-day basis and doesn't protrude more than the width of the cord. I'm giving five stars because this charger meets the advertised specs. I just didn't like it in the end. Your mileage may vary.
