No worse than the original Toyota filter.

It was very easy to install and remove two clips on the engine filter cover on my 2010 Corolla, remove the old filter and install a new one; it took less than 3 minutes. The dealer should offer this as a free service, with the filter being charged of course! But they require half-hourly or hourly maintenance, and engine and cabin filters can cost upwards of $100. I never forced them to change them.

Pros

Protect your engine: A poor quality air filter or one that is overused can easily become clogged and restrict airflow, causing the engine to misfire and even making your car difficult to start. The PHILTOP air filter has excellent dirt holding capacity and offers double engine protection.
