Our door was becoming increasingly difficult to latch and the door would not close either and on closer inspection I found that the problem was not with the door hardware, but that the door sags. Upon closer inspection I found that 3 of the 4 screws in 2 of the 3 hinges had broken off and the previous owner tried to put in a much longer screw to try to fix the problem. These things worked great 1) Removed all 4 screws at the top of the hinge 2) Drill 3" into the frame through the existing holes using the drill bit provided 3) Screw them in using the drill bit provided 4) Realign the hinge the new holes and screw them through the hinges into the new holders using the bits provided. I was concerned because the included screws screwed loosely into the metal bushings, but held very firmly. The only reason I put these 4 starts was because I felt the price was too high. This price is great if you need to fix 3-4 doors but if you only have one it's overkill and I'd like to see a package that has half the quantity for half the price.
