The light output is good, 3 colors can be set and different brightness levels can be dimmed. The controls for this are located on the cable. They are simply and clearly marked. This is a plus as some brands have fairly complex controls. I use more than one setting, so I'm happy with this one. In order for this lamp to work, the cable must be connected to the mains. It's not one that can be charged and used. (FYI) Removed 1 star for the magnetic mount. I installed the magnet and attached the light. It's ok if I don't move the cable, but if I move the cable the light moves too. I wish the magnet was stronger. I recommend light if the details above work for you.
