This item was torture to assemble on my own. I used a drill press but I had a few extra screws, some weren't even long enough to use. I shook it vigorously, it held, so I called it good. Felt sturdy enough that it only needs to support a table lamp, stand and about five magazines anyway. Also, do not put a piece of paper on this table and then write on it. What you write will stay on your beautiful table forever. This is Abby speaking. My eldest wrote about her sister (on a piece of paper) about five minutes after I put everything together. Spring. At least it's not a dirty word. We love it. Maybe a second one will appear soon, but the husband will be able to assemble it!
