I've always argued about gritting my teeth and spending $400 on a Bushnell rangefinder to get accurate shooting distances. However, in the current state of golf, I can never justify spending so much money on something that doesn't help my swing. I was randomly browsing Amazon and came across this range finder that was on sale at the time. I went ahead and bought, received the product, tested it this weekend and enjoyed using it. I don't play tournaments so the piste material is reliable and very accurate. First I check a GPS app called 18Birdies and then I check with my range finder to get a better read of the flag in case it's picking up something in the background. You get yard readings within 1 second and the included extra battery is good too. I've never tried other rangefinders so can't really compare them, but this is definitely a quality product. If you're a serious golfer who doesn't want to pay big bucks for expensive technology like Bushnell, this is definitely the option for you.
