It supports ID3 tags, song titles and artist information as long as you have correctly named the music files when burning the CD. WEAKNESSES: The included headphones are ok, but not outstanding. I bought Sony MDR-E828LP Fontopia Clockwork Headphones. A free case for the CD player would be nice. SonicStage software takes a long time to burn CDs. CONCLUSION. With the included Sonic Stage software, you can rip music CDs onto your computer and compress them at 132, 105, 66, 64 or 48 kbps (kilobits per second) and burn them to CD. I chose ATRAC3plus 105kbps compression and burned 18 music CDs onto 1 blank CD! I've noticed that this CD player has better battery life than my Panasonic CD player in the same price range. This CD player offers high quality playback and saves money on batteries. It states that 85 hours have been played, which is approximately true. With the accessories that come with it, it is sold at a great price. Don't buy cheap, buy unknown Sony brands! They make the best CD players.
