I'm ordering a new one because mine broke today. I used it to stir butter which was quite hard. I think this is my fault because I foolishly didn't soften the butter a bit (or I started whipping with a regular whisk and switched to this after softening). The plastic broke just below where it attaches to the blender, just like the one another reviewer posted. However, it's a good product if you're going to use it for what it's designed for - mixing batters, which usually requires you to empty the bowl as you work. That means cake, frosting, whipped cream, etc. I mean batter. Definitely not a tough dough like bread dough that puts a strain on the engine and can even burn it out. I have a 7 liter blender and it suits me. Edit to add: Why doesn't the kitchen help include this scraper blade along with the blender? I made a pound cake today with a regular whisk (still waiting for my new whisk) and it just couldn't beat the butter/sugar properly, although I stopped it every minute or so to scrape the edges with a spatula. Pooh.
