This coat is really cute and well made. I have 2 puppies that were almost small so I took the medium size and it's perfect. The medium size has enough adjustment for my 13 lb Schnauzer and 16.5 lb Maltip. Obviously a lot of thought went into the design. The belly stripe is trimmed to allow males to sit comfortably on the potty while walking. But the coat is absolutely NOT WATERPROOF! I'd say even the water resistance is modest at best. If you are looking for a raincoat then this is not for you. However if you are looking for a really quirky warm jacket that also goes with a trapeze I don't think you can beat this for the price and design.
