Replaced a traditional Raspberry Pi Cam with this because I needed night vision skills and also couldn't stand the ribbon cables the Pi Cam uses. This is a fantastic camera to use as a 3D printing security camera and if you want to time lapse your prints. While the quality of the video is not up to that of a modern smartphone, it looks very clean and is intended to be used to see my 3D printer printing (which is what I was meant for). I love that I can turn off the light in the garage and see the status of the print in the dark. The camera's FOV also gives me an almost full view of my printer when mounted directly on my Ender 5 Plus frame. Sure, it's connected to a 3D printer, but it feels very warm the entire time. - I wish the IR emitters and sensor were on shorter wires. They stick out further than seems necessary, but this may be down to coverage considerations as the lens is quite large. Definitely a fan of this camera and who would have thought I'd be so excited about the USB port.
