Like I said, it softens, but it's no wonder your rough, uneven skin is buffed into a smooth, plastic-doll-like texture. Nobody said it would happen, I just want to live up to the expectations of other women looking for this answer as I was guilty at the time of my purchase. The skin has texture and that's okay.
