Review on Pyrography Marker Wood Burning Pen for DIY Wood Painting, Replacing Traditional Wood Burning Iron Tool, Easy and Safe to Use (1 Piece) by Karla Richter

Didn't work as advertised!

Woodburning Pen up was very attractive, so I wanted to try it. First let me mention that I am an accomplished wood firing artist having sold many of my works at fairs and exhibitions over the past five years. The pen arrived this morning but I didn't get a chance to try it out until a few hours later. return. I shook it very well as the instructions on the handle help. Then I gently squeezed the tip a few times to draw the liquid into the tip. The problem was that when the liquid started filling the tip, it didn't stop. It leaked out when I started applying it to the wood. I wrote ESWN in all caps and the pen ran out of the letters like a tube of toothpaste! I waited and waited for the liquid to dry so I could apply the heat gun. Very disappointing! I am sending this review to the seller. hoping they allow returns and refunds as it definitely didn't work for me as advertised.

Pros
  • Safe and Fast: Pyrography marker adopts safe pen shape, ink formula is safe and non-toxic, convenient to use; You don't have to worry about it being hot like a soldering iron; A wood marker instead of a soldering iron on wood, covers large areas quickly and easily, its effect on wood is almost like charcoal drawing on paper
Cons
  • Some small things
