So I had a 22 inch Samsung TV that was just gathering dust so I added it to my computer settings. My Quadro card only has DisplayPort connections, while the TV only offered VGA and HDMI. I stuck with digital to digital I was looking for an adapter. I was arguing between a real cable and an adapter like this. I don't think there's a huge difference, even when it comes to cost. I would say if you don't have a hand HDMI cable, it would be better to buy a real cable. Clarity is fine. I settled on a 4k capable device even though my TV here is only 1080p but the price was so close between the adapters that I think it was the best buy to be sure.
