Review on SereneLife PSLBZ54: Superb Indoor Electronic Bug Zapper with 222 Sq Yard Coverage & UV A LED Attractant in Black by Bethany Ray

I bought this to replace a Hoont room arrestor I bought here last summer which wasn't very good and died after intermittent light use. It immediately seems that this zapper is much better designed and of much better quality. The Zapping Grid is built for heavy use, killing both the smallest and fairly large insects with ease. What I like is that this spark gap will continuously fry the bug until well cooked unlike other types of spark gaps which make a loud pop out of the capacitor and sometimes just stun bigger bugs. The impact is definitely strong at 4,000 volts, hitting the bugs hard like a good sparkler and roasting them to death. Compared to the broken Hoont I had, this one is a little quieter, but you can hear it's powerful and steady, releasing power when hitting a big bug, just like you'd expect from a good zapper. Basically, I wanted it to kill fruit flies and mosquitoes, which it does very well. A nice bonus is that it can also kill larger houseflies and moths. LED lighting is very good for attracting insects. The dead insect drip tray is practical and easy to clean. This device is a good combination of thoughtful design, reliable long-lasting LED bulbs and a good balance of decent good build quality and a reasonable price. This zapper is definitely an improvement in quality and performance over cheaper competitor models. I can't comment on durability as I've only had it a few weeks but it looks well built and if I have any issues I'll update my review. I love that they mention that the plastic case is fireproof plastic. I definitely recommend this spark gap to anyone who hates flying insects in their home or other areas as much as I do and refuses to use poison or other chemicals in their home or other areas. I was very happy with it and enjoy the feeling of satisfaction every time I hear him roast a bug.
