I've only had this zapper for a few days but it looks like it's exactly what I wanted.

As soon as I turned it on, it started killing mosquitoes. I had another zapper for several months before it stopped working. In fact, after two months, one of the lamps burned out. This zapper uses LEDs so I doubt they will burn out. Another plus for me is the silence when killing an insect. An old zapper would make a loud ZAP! when he has killed, but this one makes a small noise pssst. Both did their jobs, but I like this one better.

Doesn't seem to work very well on flies.

I live in the forest, near ponds and a river. My friend and neighbor has a flock of geese that live in the area, which means the flies fly around here in Maine about four months a year. it is available under countless brand names. It broke in just two months, the lights went out. Reviews said this one was good and since it had LED lights I figured it would work at least for a while. Very good strong indoor unit. Big or small, it kills them all.

I bought this to replace a Hoont room arrestor I bought here last summer which wasn't very good and died after intermittent light use. It immediately seems that this zapper is much better designed and of much better quality. The Zapping Grid is built for heavy use, killing both the smallest and fairly large insects with ease.
