I bought them in 2013 and ended up throwing them away because several holes appeared in the crotch. They have accompanied me on many, many runs. The reflective detailing on the legs has held up remarkably well over the years; it's definitely cracked and looks a bit dirty, but most of it is still there. After four years of carefree machine washing and drying! I'm 5ft 7in, 125lbs, long torso and bought a small one. (I also bought a medium in a fan model and it always didn't feel quite - tight enough - for the compression.) I usually wear women's pants 6. For me, they sit right at the waist and provide support while running. I wear them in PNW all year round, with tank tops in the summer and jackets and gloves in the winter. Slightly shiny fabric, but opaque. Very durable. They are great and I'm buying a new pair today.
