I have been noticing that after I broke the 50 year mark I am not as flexible as I used to be. Much less balanced also (I could always put my socks and also tie my shoes without the need of a seat nor kneeling down, just standing on one leg while putting my shoe on in the other one in the air). I can still sit directly on the floor to put my shoes on, but then, getting up becomes quite a project sometimes (I can not spring up as fast as I used to). And this is why I wanted to try this item. Being that I am the heaviest person in the house at close to 180lbs, I figured this would have made a great fit. And I was right! This really meets my expectations. I only wish that my entry hallway was wider to have it set by my door. Nice space for setting your shoes and a bonus of 2 drawers! Plus the cushion makes for a comfortable seat.Love it.
