Review on 🔧 Gates TCKWP328 Engine Timing Belt Kit with Water Pump: Ultimate Precision and Performance for Optimal Engine Timing by Troy Gerhardt

I installed this kit on my 2008 Legacy GT with the help of a friend. Everything in the set was of very good quality. The water pump gasket was rubber coated metal and I didn't have to put any sealant on it. Everything went in about 5-6 hours, I took my time and pulled out the cooler to get at it. I replaced the radiator hoses as well as the hose clamps when I had them. I flushed the coolant and replaced it with SUBARU Long Life Blue coolant from the dealer. After the exchange I gave 5k for the car and there were no problems. When I replaced the idler pulley and idler pulleys I noticed some of them were weaker and noisier than new, obviously they needed replacing, I'm glad I did! The only embarrassment was that when installing the water pump, the two gaskets were a bit difficult to get in place. Patience is key at this stage.
