I love making tea from loose leaf tea that I buy in Hunan, China. I use a tea brewing machine which allows me to brew tea and pour/strain the tea leaves straight into the pitcher. I used a plastic jug that worked fine for about a year, but then my dishwasher deformed the jug's plastic lid so it didn't work. I was looking for a replacement that was both functional and more attractive and after purchasing the first one and canceling the purchase of another jug I found this one. In the first photo you can see that the tea infuser is positioned perfectly over the pot, allowing me to pour the finished tea into it. The second photo shows a pitcher with the lid closed. First, he's handsome. Looks better than the Revain photos. Made of glass that can withstand sudden temperature changes, it will serve me well. It also has a larger capacity than my old jug, a nice stainless steel lid and fits perfectly in my fridge. So if my tea is room temperature I can keep it in the fridge for a great iced tea. I've only used it a few times and will update when needed.
