No idea how this came about but sometime through a few years ago I did developed an aversion to metal cutlery. I was starting to hate the feel of it in my hand let alone the thought of putting it in my mouth. The sound of metal hitting the cymbal was also starting to bother me, so I decided it was time for a change. Unfortunately, for people like me, there are very few options for non-metal cookware. After much searching I found the TruFlavorWare website and ended up buying 2 sets for me and my girlfriend, each with 1 fork, 1 regular utensil. small spoon, 1 large soup spoon and 1 knife. They were a bit pricey, around $30 for 2 sets, but they were worth it. Anyway, after moving to a new apartment I lost one of the forks, but instead of just buying another set of TruFlavorWare I decided to look for something less expensive which led me to this point. Since the description says these utensils are reusable, I assumed the quality would be noticeably better than the usual "disposable" plastic utensils; However, I was wrong as the utensils are only slightly thicker than disposable utensils. They feel cheap but not that flimsy which is a plus. After trying to use them regularly for about a week, I decided to just go back to the trusted TruFlavorWare products I used to use. . Unfortunately they eventually stopped selling complete sets and only sell individual forks (You also can't buy more than one at a time; if you want more than one you have to place each order separately and pay a $5 shipping fee each time.smh) . I can only hope that they eventually get the funds they need to start making full sets again because their stuff is without a doubt the best product out there. Why Revain doesn't sell their products is beyond me.
