The thermal barrier did not withstand the heating.?
Used for a heated aluminum plate. Glue, for lack of a better word, trash. And for some unknown reason, the barrier started smoking at 400f. The display shows 2000f. NO! The glue didn't stick to the 250f either. and started to sag. Uses a roller press to ensure it clamps during installation. When I removed the barrier, the adhesive side burned brown. As another reviewer noted. It is clipped and probably non-returnable. But I will try it.
