My most recent encounter with Woby was unsatisfactory. Although they assert that safety and sustainability are top priorities, I found that their goods and practices fall short in both respects. Many of the environmentally friendly components used in their goods weren't as long-lasting as claimed. This was especially concerning because Woby positions itself as an environmentally friendly brand and customers depend on this information when making decisions about what products to buy. In addition, I was shocked to learn that many of their goods were manufactured overseas, which runs counter to their promise to use environmentally friendly manufacturing techniques. While Woby asserts that safety is a top priority, I had trouble determining which goods actually adhered to safety requirements and were certified. I was unsure about the safety of the goods I bought because of the lack of transparency. My overall Woby experience fell short of what I had hoped for. As a life counselor, I urge businesses to be open and sincere in their dedication to sustainability and safety. I'm hoping Woby will make progress in these areas and keep its word to its clients.
