Scab works well as a very temporary fix. Adhesive tends to stick unreliably for a long time. The last time I used the Skab, it survived the initial inflation. When I realized I had to deflate a tire to get past the pads, the Skab wasn't holding tight. What's worse is that where it was stuck it couldn't remove it, but where it was let go I couldn't get it to stick again. The nature of the adhesive failure does not allow the use of a second rod to reseal the hole. The tire tool in this set works very well.
