STOP SEARCHING HERE FOR A LENS AND NEGATIVE SCANNER. THIS IS THE BEST. I have a lot of slides and negatives from over 60 years ago, most of which I inherited from my parents who were always taking pictures. My wife encouraged me to do something about all the boxes in the garage that only contained slides. So I started looking online for scanner options. I almost found others found but after reading mostly negative reviews I kept looking. When I found this scanner and saw exceptionally good reviews, I decided to buy it. When I first started scanning my father's very old color slides, I was amazed at the quality of the scans, which I viewed on my computer in JPEG format. I have now scanned over 500 photos of myself and my family, most of which I had never seen before or were too young to remember. JPEG quality can be adjusted. I have my set in the medium quality range. I BUYED IT AGAIN IN HEART BRACH. THIS IS EASY TO USE. When editing is needed I use the Windows photo program which does everything you need including dusting or removing scratches. If the original image was amazing, after scanning it will be even better. If it was originally a mediocre image, I was able to salvage a few to make it surprisingly much better. The editing program comes with a scanner, but I haven't tried it. I've scanned so many good photos with the same quality I couldn't be happier. Check out the provided photo examples.
