Review on Action Camera DJI Pocket 2, 3840x2160, 875mA h, black by Athit Janhiran ᠌

It was a bad idea to buy this, money wasted.

I bought a combo set for hiking and family shooting. I was pleased with the quality of the video - it shoots smoothly, the colors are natural. I really liked the wi-fi module - it's expensive, but it keeps the connection far away, the functionality of the application for remote shooting is rich. She served me less than six months - she took a sip of water. And yes, I had a native aquabox from the camera. But putting a camera into it without preheating the box in hot water is still a pleasure - the camera is rubberized on one side of the handle, it is inserted very tightly. I have no idea how to get the inserted camera out of the box, since you need to pull it out by the stabilizer suspension. And you need to pull it out - otherwise you won’t charge it. Accordingly, I decided to go on a water trip without an aquabox, for which I paid the price - the camera sank in a puddle. After a short swim, it began to issue stabilizer and battery errors. Contacted the office. DJI service on Novodmitrovskaya - they told me that the cameras were not being repaired and recommended to write directly to the manufacturer in China. I contacted DJI directly. I am attaching the answer. In a nutshell - the camera is not waterproof, you had to use the aquabox, contact Novodmitrovskaya, maybe they will help, but better buy a new camera. Thanks DJI for the advice. So I'll do it - I'll buy a new camera, waterproof. Now for the inconvenience of using: a) the power button is located in an inconvenient place, when you put the camera in your own plastic case, you often turn on the camera itself; b) getting out of the native case is also inconvenient, especially the wide-angle lens, which is stuck on a magnet in the case itself, tends to fall out. Until you get it, until you turn it on, until the camera turns towards you and turns away from you - the frame may be missed; c) the screen is small, you can’t really see anything in it, it’s also inconvenient to control the screen sensor due to its size. Total. This is definitely not an action camera. If you're going to shoot away from water, snow and dust, this is a very, very good option. And for me, buying this camera was a good lesson.

Pros
  • Video quality and smoothness
Cons
  • Price Lack of water resistance in stock, inconvenient native aquabox Lack of thought in many details Inconvenience of use
