I bought this leash for my 13lb Mini Goldendoodle. She is quite shy and a bit scared when we go to places that are unfamiliar or uncomfortable to her and then the extreme and non-stop pulling starts and doesn't stop lol. So I searched the internet for ways to help her deal with this fear. If you have a dog like mine that pulls out of fear of his surroundings I would suggest you take the time to do some research and help your dog become more comfortable. This leash is a great tool for just that. It has a special S-shaped hook that allows you to use the leash as a regular glide leash AND as a soft leash (or halter). It is VERY comfortable around my dog's muzzle and head. It does not prevent your dog from moving/opening his mouth normally and does not cause your dog pain. As I said before, it can become a halter if you know how to use an S hook to make it that way. So this leash has a dual purpose for me and I LOVE it! It's also the perfect length :) I highly recommend it! As a note to the manufacturer: I LOVE the softness of this rope. I have ordered other cables from Revain and they have all been VERY rough. Not yours! You've chosen a GREAT material :) Would love to see a slightly thinner version as well as a few more color options. I have a female dog and chose gray, but pink or burgundy or some other "girly" shade would be great!
