Inexpensive way to listen to books

Probably a niche thing - if you listen to books like me, for example, this is ideal. However, if you want to listen to music or make phone calls, it's far from ideal. I found the sound a bit tinny - plus it's a single earbud - without a proper microphone. I like that it has a skin tone so it's not obvious that I'm listening to books. I listen to books on the Kindle app for PC, Kindle Paperwhite (with Bluetooth), and Kindle for Android. and I got this device to pair with each of them with no problems. A single press of the button turns the headphones on, a long press puts them into pairing mode. It charges via USB-Micro-USB - a small (very small) cable comes with the device. I recommend getting a larger cable, otherwise it's a bit difficult to get old eyes to see and old backs to bend when trying to plug a micro USB plug into a socket, and a longer cable will do that thing much better. There's a tiny 45-degree door to the headphone portion that you can skip if you're not looking for, which opens the micro-USB port. One reviewer even said there's no way to charge the earbuds. Trust me, the little door is there, it's just a little bit hidden. I actually prefer the USB setup of these earbuds over the charging case setup because the USB setup eliminates the point of failure (my last much more expensive headphones had the charging case fail before the headphones). Plus, the USB charger helps keep the price down. Some reviewers say it doesn't sit well in the ear. It worked fine for me. I think I have an average ear canal. Although it comes with different ear tips, I can see where some people with smaller ears struggle (or don't). For what you get for the price it's fantastic, especially when listening to books. On the other hand, if you're looking for high-end headphones (2-ear/stereo, good phone audio quality, wireless charging, water resistance, portable charging case) then these are obviously not for you and you don't want to pay more. . For the $14 price I think it's worth a try - and if they don't fit your ear - well you bought them from Revain and you can return them. You're smart. :)
