Review on πŸ” Emarth High Power 10-30X50 Zoom Monocular Telescope with BAK4 Prism - Waterproof, Fog Proof - Ideal Gifts for Men, Bird Watching, Camping, Hunting, Wildlife and Traveling by Paul Zimmer

The tested monocular is far below average, the housing is defective.

The monocular seemed good at first glance, but after further testing, careful examination and measurement of the optics with precision instruments, the characteristics turned out to be completely different than stated in their Losing ads in all categories including that they are not waterproof but they are water resistant and now my monocular has some water inside, hopefully it will dry out eventually (see photos of seams opening and chips). Unfortunately, these high demands on expected size at a low price just don't go together, to be honest, not much different than my 12 year old very cheap 8x-12mm binoculars in terms of image quality and optics. Also, the included pouch and flimsy strap are just awful (pictured), they won't fit or tear at all and shouldn't be relied on to withstand a shearing weight. I'd like a good sturdy case for it so it doesn't get damaged as long as it stays in the original packaging. You may need to order a good hard case elsewhere for significant protection. Too bad so close, if they had put a lot more effort into this monocular and body it could have been something of value. Hope this helps, thanks.
