Bought because the existing RV bed platform lift was too weak after we replaced the mattress. That 55 pounds added just the right amount of elevated support to stay on my feet. Initially I thought I would have to make new mounting holes because the brackets were different and the ball joint at the end of the post was different than the original. I then found that the ball joints on each end of the post were unscrewed and the threaded ends of the new posts were exactly the same size and thread as the original posts that were being replaced. I unscrewed the ends of the old racks, snapped them onto the new ones, and reinstalled everything without having to make new mounting holes. The new supports work great and hold the bed up great. Very pleased with how easy and quick installation was and how they work.
