Installation may take some time as you will need to remove the door panels and one or two other parts to complete the installation. However, I think even a beginner can do it. Just go online to find help videos. Please note: For rear installation, you may need to cut the included rod about half an inch for it to work properly as the length is too long. But just cut and bend it to fit the existing latch and it should work for you the same as it did for me.
