This is a very good CD player (and more!) I bought this player because I needed a player for my audio book CDs. It is great for playing audio books. I love the fact that if you stop and start it again, it goes straight back to where it left off. Otherwise it will take forever to find the right starting point. Another nice feature that I like is that it is powered by a stand alone rechargeable battery. I will never have to hunt for batteries ever again! One feature I didn't even know when I bought it is the TF card slot. This feature is just great! I literally have hundreds of MP3 songs on my computer. I copied them all onto a micro SD card and pasted them into the CD player. It works great! The player has a shuffle function, so it plays all my music in random order. The player has two speakers at the top, but you can't have very big speakers on such a small device. They work great for audio books, but for listening to music I connect a CD player to a JBL Charge3 speaker. (The turntable comes with this ready-to-use cable.) With this setup, it's like a portable boombox. (I've attached a picture to give you an idea.) I'm ready to go to the beach or have a picnic with my music! (If this pandemic ever ends!) Of course I am very happy with the purchase of this device. I give five stars!
