READ CAREFULLY. And stay with me until the end! I buy this product with high expectations. The hopes were unfounded when the device could not be plugged into the "C" connector. After much torment I took it to BestBuy where they tried to get it working to no avail. Vain. A Samsung rep tried this on their phone and it worked great on their Samsung phone. We/he started investigating cases. 1- I was using an external case that was interfering with the docking process. which could not be easily identified by me or the representative with the naked eye at an early stage. 2- Removed the entire protective cover and he could plug the flash drive into port C. Great. 3 - Not so fast, went back to my phone and it didn't work UNTIL the stick was turned upside down, with the hard part of the drive down and the wavy part up, towards the screen. AND IT WORKS. Now my phone is backed up to an external drive that still has some free space. In general, the flash drive works well when used properly. Try this fix before contacting support. It's a life/phone saver
