Review on K&N HD-1717 Engine Air Filter: High Performance Powersport Filter for 2017-2019 HARLEY 🏍️ DAVIDSON (Fits Road King, Electra Glide, Ultra, Classic, Tri Glide, Limited, Low, and Select Models) by Leonard Herrera

I'm sure some people would argue otherwise but here are my findings. I installed it on a 2018 Road King. I also installed bypasses to allow the bleeder screws to vent to atmosphere. I plugged the hole in the air filter where the breather hose would normally go. I didn't notice any real difference in the way it worked or sounded, other than a 10% MPG loss. I have driven about 1000 miles with the filter and it has consistently been lower than the OEM. When I took it off, there was a thin film of oil and dirt on my throttle body, more than I thought it should be. The body is all plastic and will break easily as other reviewers have pointed out. Smaller breathing tube opening as others have pointed out. I had to unroll it to fit the 5/16 connector I bought. I just want to come to this conclusion before the return window closes, which is why I am writing this negative review. Otherwise I would just send it back and move on. I reinstalled the OEM filter and will update this review if the MPG doesn't go back to what it was before.
