I read the reviews and was so excited. 2 stars for build and usability. But I give 3 stars for true efficiency, size compared to other brands, and overall functionality. First let me say that this isn't the first time I've used them. As a teenager I worked at a lot of gigs where they had to be used in restaurants while the guests ate. I have always loved her. Also, my grandmother has owned a motel for 25 years. I often helped her clean between clients and she had the coolest carpet brushes ever. In fact, I asked one of them to take him home when I grew up. Rschunimagu. This carpet brush pales in comparison to others. It picks up little bits on the carpet, which is great, but I have a border collie that sheds like a German shepherd, and this thing was nowhere near ready for the job. My $20 mini vacuum sweeps it with no problem, my broom sweeps it with no problem, and my flip flops seem to pick it up and drag it across the floor. So why can't this thing record anything? No one! It was disappointing to say the least. But it was on carpet, so we decided to try it on our concrete floors, our hardwood floors, and our tile floors. He scattered things and stuffed them under the sofa instead of picking them up. We are not dirty people. It's mostly dog hair and we have to sweep the entire lower level and run the vacuum robot on a daily basis. This might work well for someone without pets, but certainly not for our family. I am giving it to my husband to use in his garage when he needs to clean up a bit. I can leave it for the kids to use in their rooms when vacuuming is inconvenient. We were disappointed with this.
