I received the product for free * to test. I received the product on time and was refunded as per the contract. The collar is easy to assemble, there are no problems with it. The recommendations for this type of collar state that you should wear it on your dog for several consecutive days BEFORE testing it on your dog. We are still at this stage and will update the review once we are past that stage. We tested the functions by touching the collar. The beep is not that loud. Knowing how noisy my kids get, I'm not sure if that would make a difference. Vibration mode seems to be the best feature ever. We tried it from 1 to 9 and found that while you can feel it, it definitely won't cause any pain or unbearable discomfort. On the other hand, the shock function seems to be a way to torment the tour dog. We tested this by placing a finger on the transponders at level 1. That was worse than a slap in the funny bone. Unless your dog is attacking someone or another dog, there should be NO REASON to use this feature, even at level 1. Background only. We have a 6 month old Labradoodle (larger) who has not been to obedience school. He's locked up when we're not home, roaming the house and making full use of the yard when we're not home. He is a typical pup who sometimes gets out of hand. We're hoping to use the collar to teach him not to jump on people, not to stand on two legs on the kitchen counter, and so on.
