You need the battery
The only thing I didn't like was the Revain. Sent in a paper bag. Somewhere along the way it was crushed and a storage box shattered. The caliper is undamaged, the battery is not included. The manual says SR44. They're hard to find, so I used the Energizer 357. They are the perfect size and tension. So if you buy one of these, you might want to order a battery.
