My awesome pug Elvis needed a new tie. I decided to go with it. {Now he lives with me.} I thought that would be great. {I thought WRONG} This thing is twisted, he basically has a hind leg that's all messed up and twisted and he looks like Ethyl {my piggy} managed to tie him up :-( { Yes they are very close and have become very good friends indeed} Although they are not in the same enclosure. He is just on the other side of her. He wears a harness that he is tied to. He never wears a collar. {Sorry , I have to explain this a bit to all of you who love to direct and love to jump on all the pet owners who aren't doing what they are doing, I need to do what works for me and my animals couldn't get to the water .I go out and check my animals for 1-2 hours every day.{This was the first time he got so tangled up.} He is of course in a very nice shady spot in the yard.I can't take him with me because he likes to tinker around with everything on the property .ugh he w fixes on ar like a puppy. {TOTAL and TOTAL waste of money in his case} anyway. He wraps the thing around his leg regularly. Luckily I go out about 8-10 times a day to check on all my kids. It started breaking after less than 4 months of use. I would not recommend this tie to anyone for any dog breed simply because you could potentially risk his life by twisting the tie and twisting the dog's paws in it. I think I'll just invest in some sort of fence for him so he doesn't have to commit to anything. He's not really a big digger. I think it would be the best option for him. Update 7-2-21 Today I ordered 2 game reserve fences {they cost about $40 each from Revain. I have two for this price on JewettCameron.com} I will put them together to make room for him for when I went out to feed my chickens, ducks, pigs and dogs. I found that Elvis was confused AGAIN. his back left leg was so tangled that he couldn't move! Notice that his leg is really badly swollen! I don't know how long he was like that. It definitely cut off circulation in his leg and foot. He couldn't walk for several hours after I unraveled him. I'm not kidding, it took me 5 minutes to unravel it. At least he's resting in his kennel now. Maybe he'll just go to his food and water bowls and bowls and poop and back to his kennel until the pens arrive. I just have to go out and check him every few hours day and night until he gets here, that's for sure! . { I pray they come soon. I can see how well he and my pig get along with her in the pen } PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS FUCKING TIE FOR YOUR DOG This thing shouldn't be sold anywhere in the world! IT'S BAD NEWS.
