If you only have one dog this may or may not work. But I have two. And when they crossed it, it was all over. This line twists like the worst thing I've ever seen. And once they curl up, they stay curled up. It's going in the trash and I'm going to buy a much thicker cable instead.

After 8 months my 6kg poodle's mounting clip broke in half. While the cable itself is very strong, the clips are made from very cheap metal which unfortunately is doomed to fail. I'm currently looking for replacement hardware made from a stronger material and a way to crimp the cable to secure it. I know I gave my baby a difficult name, but not Mighty Mouse.

If I hadn't ruined some of this by beveling I would be a huge fan. It's not the product's fault. This is a great product and without it I would be dependent on a lanyard for my front yard. It's even small enough to fit under my front door so I can tie my pup up before letting him out as he tends to run away otherwise. Goes great with my 18lb Altogoo Shih Tzu, he's probably on the heavier end of the weight range for this little one.
