excellent item. I use this to maintain the calcium between water changes. I tracked my dosing for a week and found that on my system (93 gallon cube filled with 40g sump about 1/2 way = 100 gallon water with rock backing) 1 cap is 10ppm. Uptake depends on your system and how many calcium-consuming species it has. Also think about magnesium.
