UPDATE: Shortly after I first checked out this shelter (maybe a month or so?) I got a young, skinny guinea pig. I gave him this cabin and he loves it! He likes to move it around in his cage (he likes rearranging furniture) and uses both entrances. Sometimes he also lifts his bottom and comes out like that. It's August of this year and he's chewed the grass to the point where the two holes almost meet. As long as I clean his cage regularly, I don't have much of a problem watering him with urine. It held up better than I expected and still hasn't formed. I'm actually quite happy with how long it's lasted and since my skinny guinea pig still fits in it (he made the other hole a bit bigger by chewing) I might consider buying another one as it's easy for him to moving it in a cage. The holes are small for my two adult guinea pigs. One of them went in and out multiple times after chewing on one of the holes to make it bigger. It was a little difficult for him to get out again. I like that it has no bottom so the guinea pigs don't get it dirty. In general, it looks very high quality (strong enough). As I said, my main criticism would be that it is not suitable for large guinea pigs. Mine are probably both under 3lbs.
