"Easy to install". Once you take apart your dryer and pull out the drum. Perfect kit to replace my Samsung dryer model DV48J7770EP/A2. The belt is probably as good or even better than the factory belt, but the pulley is definitely better as it has dual ball bearings instead of just spinning the spindle like the factory pulley. My original belt wasn't overly worn, but it squeaked (hence the pulley replacement - a fairly obvious squeak at startup that went away as it warmed up and stiffness eased), so I figured the stretch/damage would be enough, that the exchange does not would not help. to harm. Also, I don't want to take the dryer apart again any sooner than I have to, and the belt is cheap. If you're having the symptoms I've described on a fairly recent Samsung dryer, it's probably the belt/tensioner. As far as I remember the wheels have bearings so they don't wear out as quickly. Our dryer is about 2-3 years old - a pulley failure isn't too surprising when you see it doesn't even have bearings. Stupid, bad, cheap design. I can't speak for sure about the durability of this combo, but things are looking very promising from here.
