Received the chalk mostly in tact which was great since it came in one of those padded envelopes. Only one piece was broken. I LOVE this chalk! It is the same stuff I use at work (I tailor formal military uniforms). It is wax based so it feels soft (rather than chalky/powdery like the stuff you use on blackboards) and doesn't come off on your fingers. It marks and stays on fabric really well and will come off in an instant with a steam iron. Definitely recommend. Only wish it came in more colors for use on lighter/white fabrics. Sharpen with a knife.
