Review on UGEARS Locomotive Mechanical Puzzle Toys by Bill Martinson

This set is amazing. The folks at UGears really think about their kits before releasing them. Quality wood, laser cut parts that easily pull out of the sheets, clearly numbered steps and parts, and detailed instructions. And the best part is that no glue is needed. However, the kit is solid and fully functional when finished. You must follow the instructions to ensure all moving parts are in the correct place. But if you do it like we do, then you have a model that not only looks great, but also works great. It's fun just watching the gears move as the train moves. Highly recommended if you have made at least one other kit before. I wouldn't recommend this set as a first choice if you've never dealt with such things. Again, simply because all of the wheels/gears must be properly built and positioned. But if you have little experience here or are familiar with this type of activity, then by all means do it. But wow, fun to build, use and look at.
